Osteopathy
A comprehensive, fully personalised, and effective treatment modality for musculoskeletal pain.
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that incorporates a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal complaints. We regularly work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide you with safe and effective care, e.g. GP's and consultants. A range of hands-on techniques, combined with exercise and lifestyle advice is used, which are discussed with you and set around your goals. Your consent is gained through-out the consultation so you're fully in control-no surprise 'clicks' here!
Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council and have obtained over 1,000 clinical hours during their full-time, 4 year Masters degree. As a registered profession, practitioners are required to uphold their skills, understanding, and experience by regularly partaking in CPD courses and abiding by strict laws and regulations outlined in the Osteopathic Standards and Osteopaths Act. This ensures safe, effective, evidence-informed practice for patient-centered care.
